The Regulatory Compliance and Treasury Officer is a dual role where you will have the opportunity to be the main compliance contact for the Jersey business in addition to being a senior member of the banking team, supporting the treasurer facilitating day today requirements within the group. Key accountabilities will include: - Serving as initial point of contact for all regulatory compliance matters on the island. - Monitoring and testing the operations of various facilities in the region to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. - Identifying, evaluating, documenting and escalating risk and tracking progress of agreed mitigation plans. - Working with global counterparts within the business to ensure best practice is carried out. - Support the Treasurer and Group Treasury Manager in ongoing maintenance and development of bank account structure and relationships. - Oversee the treasury and banking team ensuring all daily processes are completed. These include: maintenance of forex rates in internal systems; banking reconciliations; recording banking queries from other areas of the business; generation of accounting journals.

The crucial skills set we are looking for is a genuine understanding and proven track record in both the Compliance and Treasury sectors. In addition, the successful Regulatory Compliance and Treasury Officer will have : - Detailed knowledge of corporate banking processes in and requirements. - Understanding of currency conversions and transactions. - In depth knowledge of regulatory Compliance. This role would potentially suit someone working in a Private Banking business who has worked in a Treasury capacity and subsequently moved into a Compliance role.
