A leading Global Operator is looking to recruit a HSE Advisor to be part of their regional Health and Safety Team. This role will be reporting into the contractor HSSE Lead. This individual will be expected to deliver the HSSE/PSCM annual plan and drive contractor related safety performance and risk reduction. The key duties of this role are as follows:

• Working closely with the Regional Supply Chain team, responsible for driving a standardised approach into the pre-qualification and selection of contractors.
• Provide H&S approval of HSSE plans, risk assessments and bridging documents .
• Engage with Operations to ensure contractor HSSE performance at sites meetsthe companiesHSSE expectations and contractual requirements.
• Provide contractor-related HSSE support and guidance to on/offshore HSE professionals - typically in relation to incidents / near misses / non-conformances.
• Manage the Regional contractor HSSE assurance and audit process.
• Lead and coach others in PSCM / HSSE related processes (OMS compliance)

Who we're looking for
The successful HSE Advisor will be based in Aberdeen with up to 10% travel. The HSE Advisor should have a relevant HSE qualification and be a member of a chartered body. My client is looking for an individual who is highly competent safety professional, skilled in the identification, assessment and management of hazards associated with contractor-lead activities. With a strong understanding of both Process and Personal safety, and the ability to develop actions required.
