Based at a high profile manufacturing site in Leeds you will take charge of all financial accounting duties for the UK business. You will take an active role in reviewing existing controls and implementing new ones, maintaining the fixed asset register, balance sheet work, preparation of stat accounts in line with IFRS, liaising with external auditors, intercompany reconciliations.

As part of a department restructure you will also be given ad hoc process improvement projects and reviews as the role develops.

Who we're looking for
This role would be ideal for a recently qualified ACA/ACCA candidate from a top ten practice looking to make their first move into industry. As well as moving into a familiar technical environment you will also be able to expand your skillset with ad hoc projects that span the business. These projects will give you exposure to senior managers company wide so candidates with strong communication skills are a must.

Candidates who currently or have previously audited large scale manufacturers are of particular interest to us.
