The IT Audit Manager has accountability for delivering and executing IT.
Our customers include all Technology Solutions teams and business unit management that develop and support business applications and infrastructure across the business. Audits are performed using a risk based approach resulting in different areas being audited on a cyclical basis over a 12 month to 5 year interval based on the underlying risks. The nature of IT audits is outlined below:
• Integrated Audits include assessment of risks and controls of business functionalities and the underlying technologies, and are conducted in conjunction with business auditors.
• Application Audits include assessment of technology risks and controls of business applications.
• Infrastructure audits include an assessment of technology risks and controls for the underlying infrastructure supporting the business applications.
• Project Audits include assessment of project risks and controls of major initiatives that are underway and design effectiveness of controls affected by the projects.
Job Description:
• Accountable for execution and/or overseeing the different stages of an audit - planning, execution, reporting and findings follow-up.
• Direct, oversee, plan and execute audits, resource requirements and processes to ensure audits are completed in accordance with established standards and within prescribed time, budget and scope parameters.
• Maintain on-going communication with clients
• Conduct the following audit activities:
Complete Audit Planning, Risk & Control Assessment, and develop/update audit programs
Supervise and monitor and/or execute audit testing. Ensure completion of documentation of audit work in a clear, concise, logical manner; and assessment of risk, design and operating effectiveness of controls.
Review test working papers and audit findings/recommendations for fieldwork conducted by team members.
Presentation of findings and recommendations to management with Senior Audit Manager
Draft audit reports.
Monitor follow-up status of audit findings and prepare findings follow up documentation for approval and closure.
• Work with IT Audit Management to improve the audit process to ensure audits are performed efficiently and delivered timely with quality results.

• IT Audit Experience from Big 4 accounting firm or from other blue chip organisation
• CISA and/or Accounting designations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
• People management experience<BR>
