As part of a recent reorganisation, my client seeks an Interim FP&A Accountant to join their Finance department based in Sussex while they carry out a search for a permanent FP&A Manager. As the senior member of a three-person Financial Planning & Analysis team and reporting into the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for managing the FP&A team, working closely with key stakeholders in the business and providing good quality financial information and analysis in all areas of the business including sales, margins and operating costs. This role is within a large, well respected, global business who are poised for significant and ambitious growth in the near future. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to be considered for the permanent FP&A Manager's position.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for the Interim FP&A Accountant position will possess the following: • Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) • Inquisitive nature • Ability to work with raw data and produce financial information • Ability to analyse figures and present the information in a readable and understandable format for non-finance staff • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships • Ability to manage a team • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team • Flexible approach • Excellent IT skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Europe and US exposure and experience<BR>• Experience of Hyperion • Knowledge of project analysis work such as Return on Investment, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period • You will need to be immediately available or available at short notice (no more than 1 week)to be considered for this role.
