The Project Quality Advisor who will be based in Aberdeen will be the focal point on a projects for all QA and QC matters.You will provide a support function to the project manager and project team. The jobholder will promote the use of professional Quality tools, principles and objectives. The successful Project Quality Advisor will report functionally to the UK Quality Projects Lead and may work in support of a Senior Project Quality Advisor on a large scale project. The following are some of the key duties to be carried out in this position:
• Within a Subsea Project (s) ensures the effective implementation of the company's systems, professional Quality tools, principles and objectives. • Aligns Company Quality Plan and Systems with Project Contractual requirements. • Supports project leadership teams in implementing the requirements of the business management system and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle i.e. Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation phases. • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the Project Quality Plan(s) and associated Project Quality Documentation. • Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor quality performance on the project. • Assist the Project Management Team in defining its QA/QC resource requirements.
Who we're looking for
The successful Project Quality Advisor who will be based in Aberdeen, should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Subsea Operations. In this position you must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of the Quality Standards. The following skills are desirable for this position:
• Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems is essential • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential an excellent communicator, reader and writer is essential • Ability to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems with a pleasant and articulate manner is essential • Capable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level • Good organisational skills and smart working methods.
