The Repairs & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for driving performance and customer satisfaction across a range of responsive maintenance services including voids works services, plus a 24 x 7 x 365 out of hours' emergency call-out package. Furthermore this individual will oversee a team of admin and technical staff responding to client requests and queries relating to various repairs across a wide portfolio of social housing stock. This will focus upon call centre management and administering a speedy and quality response to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maximised.
The department is made up of the following:
• Two geographical teams of works supervisors and engineers • An administrative team responsible for admin, customer and client relations plus performance monitoring and management
Our Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) Manager will have a key role to:
• Maintain the reputation for producing top level performance across existing contracts • Make their own mark on performance as we take on new contracts

They seek to recruit an experienced individual to lead and manage the various teams that comprise the responsive maintenance arm of our business. Essential characteristics they are looking for in the right person include: • Excellent technical knowledge having progressed through a trade route in to management • Excellent management skills • Effective leadership and communication skills • Combination of drive, experience, initiative and innovation. • Social Housing experience preferable but the position is open to candidates from the public, social housing or commercial sectors.
