This large service company have a requirement for a Project Quality Control Advisor to be based in Aberdeen. The Advisor will be the focal point on the projects that they will be assigned on all Quality Control matters. This position will provide a support function to the project manager and project team. The successful Advisor will promote the use of professional Quality tools, principles and objectives. The following are key duties that will be performed by the Project Quality Control Advisor:
• Within a Subsea Project (s) ensures the effective implementation of the company's systems, professional Quality tools, principles and objectives. • Aligns Company Quality Plan and Systems with Project Contractual requirements. • Supports project manager and project team in implementing the requirements of the business management system and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the Project Quality Plan(s) and associated Project Quality Documentation. • Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor quality performance on the project • Management of nonconformity through the companies Opportunity For Improvement (OFI) Process and Synergi Database • Assist the Project Management Team in defining its QC resource requirements.
Who we're looking for
The successful Project Quality Control Advisor will be based in Aberdeen. It is desirable that the individual has a strong working knowledge of Subsea operations,and is a Qualified and Experienced ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. The following skills are desirable:
• Be able todemonstrable experience in a Quality Control project position within the Subsea or Offshore environment • Have a working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards. • A thorough understanding of Quality Standards: ISO 9000 family of standards, ISO 10005 and BS EN10204.
