The role will be to become a key member of theDepot Management Team and cover all areas id the shift to meet the daily service need.
The key areas are to ensure quality, cost targets in accordance with business plans. Company values are key for the role of Team Manager and specifically the environment onsite. The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures along with external Health & Safety compliance. Assessing risks and minimising them is key to the role. Building a relationship with other areas of the business and outside business partners is also important in line with keeping everyone informed of the day to day running and and issues which may have arisen which may affect schedules.
The role of Team Managerwill also require the planning of resources in order to meet the forecast demand and cover the Depot Manager in absence where necessary.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for candidates with a proven past record in supervising staff and preferably knowledge of the Transport or FMCG environment. Team work skills are essential in this role along side the ability to recognise individuals needs and providing support where it is needed.
