Insurance Manager

Outsourcing Provider

This Insurance Manager, based in Bristol but with responsibilities in London and regional offices, will have a focus on the Operations (Insurance) requirements of this FTSE-250 organisation on a day-to-day basis.This position is an extension of the current team to bring more of the company's insurance function in-house.

Key work areas will include supporting the annual insurance review; responsibilities for handling internal insurance queries from the diverse group background; ensuring that the remaining outsourced insurance functions meet agreed service level standards; identifying the key performance indicators that influence costs of insurance; and identification of suitable risk improvement projects.

Who we're looking for
The right candidate for the Insurance Manager role will need to explain the group insurance strategies to non-technical stakeholders and understand the very complex insurance needs for the group. Good communication and presentation skills are absolutely key with relationship-building an integral part of the role. A knowledge of the insurance market with experience in the Broker and Insurer subfields are essential; candidates must be flexible and adaptable with a "can do" attitude and be IRM or CII professionally qualified.

Basic salary of £40-50k (dependent upon experience) with a discretionary performance-related bonus of up to 25%; competitive pension, healthcare, holiday and car allowances.
