An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the firm's commercial department.They are seeking a creative, client focused and friendly commercial lawyer of 0-3* years PQE who is looking for freedom in their approach to the job and who possesses a good sense of humour. The department has an enviable (and expanding) client base and they expect the successful candidate to play a pivotal role in the growth of the department, offering excellent career progression opportunities. The work of the department covers a wide range of issues from supply, distribution, agency and manufacturing agreements to intellectual property licensing and information technology related issues. The commercial team also has a strong record in delivering training on contract law, IP and the implications of the Bribery Act.
Who we're looking for
Main tasks and duties draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and other documents carry out and project manage their own projects deliver training to clients both face to face and via webinars work alongside the Head of Department on complex transactions offer new ideas and input into the development of the department build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, becoming heavily involved in marketing and business development opportunities Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience<BR>Ideally 0-3* years PQE dealing with commercial matters Possess excellent client care & communication skills Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Be a team player and able to get on with others Ideally experience of Intellectual Property and/or public procurement Enjoy working in a culture that is highly focused, but friendly & supportive
