This is a permanent Buying Manager role. Critical to your success will be your ability to develop strong relationships with national bookstoreFranchise Owners and Publishers. You must be able to demonstrate sound retail buying practices, ensure sales and profitability budgets are achieved through product ranging, stock management and margin management.

Strong retail background with outstanding influencing and relationship building skills
Strong book industry knowledge
Strong analytical skills
Superior organisation and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on attention to detail

Our client is a leading Australian book & new media company that currently has an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Buying Manager to join their team in a permanent capacity.
