The successful QHSE Manager will be based in Aberdeen and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and best practice. You will take a proactive approach in driving initiatives which will support the overall QHSE strategy of the business, and maintaining the company's compliance to ISO9001, ISO 4001 and BSOHSAS 18001 registrations. Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following.
• Analysis of non-conformance reports to develop recommendations to the Senior Management Team. • Develop appropriate safety reinforcement programs, managerial and personnel tools to support the establishment of safety performance standards. • Analyse workplace injury statistics, to identify common causes and risks to develop training and awareness programs. • Design and implementation of company QHSE policies, processes and systems to support the ongoing implementation, monitoring, reporting and improvement of performance. • Monitor and audit company compliance against legislation, Codes of Practice and other instruments that regulate safe workplace policies, processes and systems. • Provide specialist QHSE advice to Senior / Executive Management and other key stakeholders at a strategic and individual level.
Who we're looking for
The successful QHSE Manager will be based in Aberdeen and will have proven track record in a similar Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management role for a small to medium sized business. You will also need to demonstrate the following.
• HS/Environmental/QA qualifications one or more desirable. • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent). • Internal auditing. • Background in working within legislative requirements. • Proven track record of implementing and managing HSEQ KPIs and standards. • Attention to detail. • Strong communication skills. • Change management. • Strong time management and organisational skills. • Stakeholder management. • Ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
