Assistant General Manager

• Manage the Site and the Site P + L in the absence of the GM.
• Manage all internal departments and ensure departmental responsibilities are adhered to at all times.
• Effectively manage workload of internal departments to ensure effective conformance to plan and KPI's.
• Ensure Departmental errors are accurately captured and focused on for continuous improvement.
• Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Accurately plan and allocate staffing to actively manage scheduled workloads, with support from Planning.
• Actively manage daily departmental issues to bring back in line with daily plan and KPI's.
• Provide and maintain essential reporting mechanisms to the General Manager as required.
• Audit internal department KPI's and implement improvement where necessary.
• Ensure Customer Services processes are adhered to and customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Ensure Goods-In processes are adhered to and stock integrity is maintained.
• Ensure Production processes are adhered to and WIP completion is achieved.
• Ensure Quality Control processes are adhered to and accuracy of checking is maintained.
• Ensure Despatch processes are adhered to and despatch deadlines are met.
• Plan regular meetings with departmental heads to ensure operational conformance and improvement.
• Operate continual improvement throughout all site mechanisms.
• Contribute to staff training and development to ensure that a robust human capital structure is protected.
• Ensure acceptable ISO quality standards are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure good housekeeping / health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
• Undertake any other duties which may be required to assist the needs of the business as directed by management.

Who we're looking for
- Some ideally from a fashion pre retail or manufacturing/logistics environment
- Someone who can manage MI and KPI's
- Someone who can manage the day to day operations, this will be a very shop floor based position, managing all departments from goods in QC and despatch
- Someone who can manage workloads and manage and conform to plans
- Someone who can work closely with each department and develop and change manage each area to pull it all together
- Someone who can provide hourly status Quo's to allow development planning
- Someone can audit and hit internal KPI's
- Must be a strong man manager, and be able to hold their own in meetings and able to manage teams of up to 150 people
- Someone who can train and develop people
- Appraisals
