We are looking for the Solicitor to have 5 years + PQE experience. This is a 12 months fixed term contract covering maternity leave, however this role may lead to a permanent role. The candidate will work under the supervision of a partner but, depending on experience, will be expected to handle a full caseload within minimum supervision. Ideally, the candidate will have Claimant serious / catastrophic injury (SI) related experience and will have some experience working on high value and complex cases involving head injury, spinal cord injury, upper and lower limb amputations and severe orthopaedic injury related cases. If you do not come from a SI background you will need to have a good solid claimant PI background. The caseload is varied and covers high level RTA work, Fatal Serious Injury and Aviation cases.
Candidates will need to have excellent client care and communication skills, given the particular sensitivity associated with serious catastrophic injury claims. The successful candidates will also need to show that they can cope well under pressure.
