The LB Group are recruiting a Group Supply Chain Manager, based at LB Plastics in Ripley, Derbyshire. They are a multi-national manufacturing business in the world of windows, doors, conservatories and other building solutions.
This is a newly created role in the business, with an initial focus on the UK operations. This is an amazing opportunity to put your own stamp on a multi-million pound supply chain / operation, through implementing best practice in all areas of supply chain and materials management by driving large scale change. There are significant growth plans for the business and this role will be pivotal to their success, and as such further down the line could be rewarded with a board / director level role.
Initially you will be responsible for elements of business improvement relating to Material flow:
• Procurement strategy; establishing and developing supplier relationships • Managing Raw Material Stock / Finished Goods Inventory • Managing & writing contracts for key supply partners. • Integrating a new ERP system, and re-aligning Supply Chain processes. • Implementing & establishing S&OP process. • Planning raw material and finished goods flows • Driving product Quality improvement
Who we're looking for
• Senior level individual with experience across broad supply chain management (as highlighted above). • Process implementation and development experience / change management • Strong character and personality will be important in the final decision.
