Financial Operations Manager

Over the next ten years, the University will develop its role as a leading London-based international university, championing a socially inclusive approach to participation in higher education.

Key to helping Middlesex University achieve these goals is our finance department; you will join our dynamic senior management team and manage the University's financial transaction processing areas. You will maintain existing controls and design new financial workflows in response changing student, internal stakeholder and regulatory requirements. You will take ownership over the accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.

A central part of the role will be leading and developing a team of 19 staff, as well as being responsible for the outsourcing arrangements with a UK and an overseas service provider.

Who we're looking for
You will have experience in managing multiple financial operations at any one time and possess strong auditing skills. You will have a proven track record in implementing change to financial processes and achieving an optimal balance between control and stakeholder requirements.
