Rackspace are seeking a bright, highly motivated, self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join their Installed Base Sales Team. The position's primary responsibilities would include; developing customer and partner relationships and driving sales opportunities. This entails supporting campaigns in tandem with the marketing department, closing upgrades and transactional opportunities and delivering high levels of customer service in conjunction with the support organisation. Although this is not a field sales role, there will be opportunities to meet clients face to face to discuss their business requirements. As their account manager, you will be responsible for delivering new business solutions to the client and increasing monthly revenue spend. Rackspace provide a dedicated support team for the client to allow you to fully focus on developing your pipeline with new commercial opportunities.
The goal of this position is to develop an account base through relationship management and sales to deliver overall growth of the MRR number for these customers. You will be expected to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quota's, KPI's,whilst delivering accurate forecasting and maintaining full ownership of the sales cycle from start to finish.
Who we're looking for
You will have experience of managing a sales process and be comfortable in negotiating and closing business. You will have a proven sales track record, where you can clearly demonstrate examples of managing the full sales cycle and achieving sales targets. Having experience of managing a sales process, dealing with objection handling and closing business over the phone will be required for this role, along with examples of providing value to the client. You must also be commutable to their Head Office on a daily basis.
