Supporting the Finance Director and Managing Director you will be an integral part of the finance team and the wider business management team. As well as taking day to day responsibility for the accounting department you will also be expected to provide cover for the Finance Director in key activities of the business. Duties will also include:

• Responsible for financial and statutory accounts including management of audit
• Develop, maintain andimprove regular monthly / quarterly internal management reporting
• Presenting key financial information to the Managing Director and key stakeholders
• Attending external meetings including with investors, insurers and banks
• Budget planning, forecasting and financial planning
• Oversee transactional processing

Who we're looking for
• Capable manager with the drive and enthusiasm to deliver results in challenging circumstances
• Professional accountancy qualification (preferably ACA)
• Strong academic record
• Working knowledge of accounting processes
• Strong Excel skills
• Understanding of property / construction industry would be helpful but not essential
