Our client is looking for a technically competent Manager who will play an integral part of driving forward this specialism within the region by winning new work through sales activity.
The main responsibilities include:
• Advising clients on all aspects of tax investigations work including that driven by SCO through to local tax district.
• Assisting in the financial management of the group.
• Managing a small team of professionals to achieve group objectives.
• In addition, the Manager will have a key role in sales and marketing this service and should demonstrate a strong ability to develop networks in support of referral work.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should be ATII qualified or hold relevant Inland Revenue Exams, with at least three years within the private sector. They will also need to demonstrate a strong technical ability and experience in dealing with serious fraud and avoidance investigation, including tax schemes. They will need to have strong interpersonal skills (presentation and report writing etc). Other skills required will be the ability to demonstrate a flexible, innovative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to build and maintain relations within the team and with other specialists. They must have a strong interest in actively pursuing personal, technical and career development.

The Investigations group of our client provide an advisory supportive service to the regional offices on direct tax investigations as well as to clients outside our normal client base and to other professionals.
