The Physical Asset Management Group advises major private and public sector organisations on the planning, procurement, maintenance and management in use of physical infrastructure, plant, real estate and mobile assets to improve operational performance, support business transformation, reduce risk and maximise shareholder value.
This vacancy is for Consultants with a focus on Capital Programme Management.
Who we're looking for
A capital project or programme management professional with work experience in a relevant blue chip organisation such as a major project / programme owner, a project delivery organisation, or a relevant technical or management consultancy.
Personal achievement through day-to-day responsibility for delivery on complex projects or programmes, covering at least:
- Two project stages from requirement through to completion; and
- One relevant specialism such as procurement strategy, planning or risk management.
Experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Developing physical asset management strategy;
- Planning and procuring capital assets or asset solutions (including PPP);
- Line management responsibility for capital projects or programmes or elements of their supply chain;
- Undertaking organisational and process design for capital programmes;
- Outsourcing of capital programme services;
- A track record of operational performance improvement, cost reduction and/or business change; and
- Implementation or exploitation of capital project or programme management information systems.
Candidates should have:
- Evidence of rapid career development and increasing responsibilities;
-adaptability to develop further in a multi-disciplinary environment;
- Good inter-personal and communication skills, both orally and in writing;
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial aware
About our client
Excellent "A" levels, or demonstrated equivalent.
Excellent first degree (1st or 2:1) in a relevant technical or commercial subject.
Professional qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering, project management or procurement (e.g. CEng, MAPM or CIPS).
A further degree such as an MBA is desirable, though not essential.
