Financial Management brings together project and finance function expertise with the technical know how of a big 4 accounting firm. Within FS Advisory, the FM function will address any issues on the CFO agenda, helping Finance functions emerge from a period of over-focus on regulatory issues and projects to re-partner with the business and drive growth.
Vacancies exist in the follow industry sectors:
Investment banking
Retail banking
General Insurance
Life insurance
Managers (Executive Advisors)and Senior Managers (Principal Advisors) are required to be work stream leads on larger projects.
You will contribute to the department and assist with business development.
Who we're looking for
This Big 4 firm is looking to recruit individuals with practical experience of finance functions within the financial services industry. Candidates will have held roles in Product Control and / or Financial Control, or will have specialised in the FS industry within another audit or consulting firm.
Ideally you will have had exposure to project work and driving through change within organisations. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a sound grasp of the issues facing finance functions in the industry, the wider industry issues and be able to articulate solutions to these. This is a chance to join a fast growing team.
You will have strong industry knowledge and be looking to broaden your skill base through helping deliver projects to improve finance function.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate is likely to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Experience of corporate investment banks, retail banks or insurance companies, preferably within a Chartered Accountancy firm or banking/insurance organisation
Product control, financial control experience
An accounting qualification is desirable
Demonstrable ability to think through issues and arrive at solutions.
Good interpersonal skills
An ability to communicate well in writing and to present to
