Operating in a highly competitive market, our Relationship Managers in Scotland need to be able to see an opportunity and maximise it. Whether that is exceeding customer expectations at every stage in order to facilitate a better relationship or following up on a lead and converting it into new business. Either way the team have the self motivation and drive to consistently deliver excellence.

You'll be given the autonomy and ultimate responsibility for managing your own portfolio and producing sustained income. This is coupled with providing consistently outstanding relationship management and advice to a varied and challenging mix of business customers throughout the Aberdeen market.

Entrepreneurial spirit to seek and establish sales opportunities is vital. So is the need for you to meet customer requirements and your own targets, through active portfolio management and development.
The performance of your portfolio is essential and you will maximise it by maintaining existing income sources, identifying areas of growth and by acquiring new business.

Our relationship teams' communication and networking skills are first class as you will maintain an extensive network of contacts and relationships throughout the market, while also building up a flow of new and target business.

Our customers have high expectations. This is due to the dynamic working relationships our people have developed with them. However, the team focus on consistently looking to exceed those expectations in all aspects of the working partnership by ensuring speedy resolution to all queries and always providing a tailored level of service depending on the customers needs.

Who we're looking for
Due to the fluid nature of the structure, we are looking to speak to experienced Relationship Directors and Associate Directors to work in our Business Banking team. Ideally you will come from a similar Business Banking background and will have extensive experience of managing large and complex accounts with blue chip clients and/or fast growing medium enterprises. You must have the requisite ability, impact and commercial flair to meet the challenges we've described. We'd be interested in receiving applications from candidates who have consistently achieved in their career to date and are now seeking their next challenge. The faint-hearted need not apply!
