General Manager for a new division set up for the bidding and construction of very large,prestigious and high quality building projects. A number of projects are planned over the next three years.As the General Manager you will be expected to identify and secure suitable projects and execute your team accordingly. Ability to work on large projects worth $100 million - $300 million in value
Supervise and monitor current new build projects ensuring that all agreed terms, deadlines and products are being adhered to.
Liaise and report to senior management and end users on project timelines and costing .
Manage sub-contractors and 3rd parties effectively to maximise productivity.
Ensure that all Health and Safety is complied with by all on site personnel
Who we're looking for
Qualified Engineer
Project Manager for a recognised industry leader.
Proven leadership skills within a construction/project site
Completed and managed two or three large building projects.
Experience of Financials and forms of contract related to large build projects including design and build.
Able to display authority without losing respect of peers and sub-ordinates
Technically competent with relevant qualifications.
Deliver effectively and manage expectations.
Good command of English or first language.
