Specific content expertise is being sought in (any of) the following Supply Chain Management areas:
• Facilitating customer and supplier relationships
• Unlocking value from existing supply chain relationships
• Supplier performance management and incentivisation
• LEAN construction processes and methodologies
• Strategic Sourcing (including emerging markets)
Specifically, we would also be seeking proven experience in the following areas:
• Project Management
• Benefits Case
• Stakeholder management
• Change management
• Issues based selling
• Mobilisation and communications
• Negotiating and securing advantageous commercial arrangements
• Executive and team coaching/development
• Data gathering, process and data analysis, hypothesis development
• Ability to structure a programme of work and deliver against agreed budgets and timescales
• Making informal and formal presentations of findings in clear, focused and persuasive manner
• Sourcing and distilling internal and external knowledge sources
Skills and knowledge in the construction and property industry are desirable but not essential.
Good IT skills are an absolute requirement.
Who we're looking for
You are likely to be academically well-qualified (to a good Degree level as minimum). The successful candidates will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams that have successfully delivered major change programmes. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate a successful track record in business development based on exceptional project delivery and will bring with them keen analytical, presentation and problem solving skills and be well prepared for significant training and development.
