Production Engineer

This is an exciting new role designed to provide the crucial link between design, engineering and production. Your key responsibilities will include:

• All new product and product change evaluation to ensure the suitability of the design for manufacture.
• Line design including jigs and fixtures and development of standard work for all new and current product changes to achieve required quality and production efficiencies to time and budget in conjunction with the design, engineering and production departments.
• Problem solving technical issues with the build
• Developing lean practice within the Chippenham operation

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have related lean manufacturing skills with a background in assembly. Your career history will include practical exposure to tool making / maintenance / calibration of jigs and fixtures with a working knowledge of production quality procedures. You will be an expert in assembly with the ability to influence cross functionally in order to deliver on your objectives.
