The role is in a team which is responsible for the end to end fund set up process and the maintenance of all fund accounting related static data on both Multifondsand customer interface mapping tables in the test environments.
Responsibilities include:
Test functionality within current framework.
Test analyse and review new or required functionality.
Develop set up procedures for live environment.
Set up and maintenance of application level parameterisation of the Edinburgh Production and Test databases.
Completion of Multifonds parameterisation for migrations and testing.
Completion of Multifonds parameterisation changes as a result of change control, new functionality and static data updates.
Completion of fund set up/parameterisation for various types of testing (e.g. client facing, new functionality etc)
Support testing activity throughout the operation.
Who we're looking for
Experience in an investment operational function (e.g. valuations, reporting, pricing, settlements).
A general understanding of investment products such as Unit Trusts, OEIC's or External Funds.
Excel at intermediate level.
Ability to analyse and review large volumes of technical information.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Some form of Accounting or Mathematical content to either school or university qualification .
Investment Administration Qualification preferred but not essential.
Adaptability.
Analytical Ability.
Attention to detail.
Communication Skills.
Initiative.
Planning & Organising.
Teamwork.
