Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen at IPD for a Business Development Manager responsible for sourcing, securing and developing infrastructure projects across International territories.

Main Responsibilities of the role include:

• Researching sources of finance and developing means of accessing such financing in the development of projects
• Researching and securing new clients
• Identifying project collaborators, which could include suppliers, contractors or financiers
• Preparation of requests and proposals for sub-contractors
• Preparation of bids and proposal to clients
• Management of contractual relationships
• Contract administration including the monitoring and reporting on project performance
• Frequent travel to the project location, mainly into African territories

Who we're looking for
• A fluency in English & French is essential
• Technical training and experience in the area of civil, building, mechanical or electrical engineering
• Experience of sourcing and developing infrastructure projects
• Contract administration experience
• Experience of operating within emerging markets would be extremely beneficial

IPD are involved in sourcing & securing finance, design & engineering, procurement, construction and after sales service.
