Senior Structural Engineer

looking for Senior Structural Engineers to join our teams either in the Croydon, London, Reading or Cambridge offices to assist with an increasing workload which may include some significant projects in the rail and airports sector.

The successful candidates will have day to day running of Mott MacDonald structural projects, including technical, staff and financial management.

Responsible for:

• Interpreting and delivering clients' briefs
• Technical content of projects
• Determining budget and programme work
• Identifying resource requirements for the project and managing those resources within the project budget
• Client liaison
• Identification and management of risk
• Identifying further opportunities with existing and new clients
• Applicants could progress either to a more senior technical role or Associate

Who we're looking for
The successful applicants should have the following essential academic, professional qualifications and experience:

• BEng or MEng in structural or civil engineering
• MIStructE (preferred), MICE or acceptable equivalent
• Experience of commercial buildings such as retail, leisure, health and education
• Successfully delivered projects exceeding £20m
• Desired involvement in design & build or PFI projects

They have a great deal of activity surrounding the 2012 project and are growing their organisation at a record rate.
