The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the growth of the Rating team. Maintaining a high level service to all clients, this person will ensure thatourclient,sustains and enhances its reputation for the quality of its expert strategic advice, to both the private and public sectors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own client portfolio working alongside senior colleagues and Partners. They will cover all aspects of Rating work and provide advice on a broad range of issues by being involved in a wide range of projects in locations throughout London and the South East of England.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Client liaison
• Appeal advice
• Inspecting properties
• Valuing for rating purposes
• Negotiation
• Portfolio management
• General ad hoc duties
Who we're looking for
The London Rating team is seeking to recruit an ambitious surveyor, ideally with post qualification experience gained within either the private or public sectors. This will be a high calibre surveyor who is self-motivated, eager to join a busy Rating team and naturally interested in good career progression.
Ideal candidates will be/possess:
• numerate
• IT literate
• able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• good communication skills, both written and verbal
• flexible and responsive to changing demands
• able to work under pressure
• professional in their approach
• a pragmatic approach to negotiation
• able to build relationships and depending on the level of experience, be able to identify new business opportunities
