To support the growing Mars Incorporated business, the opportunity has arisen to recruit Business Systems Managers into the European IT function, based at a key hub in the Thames Valley region. As a member of the IT Business Solutions function, you will be tasked with delivering key IT and Business projects across Europe, incorporating Technology and Business Process initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
• Translating complex business requirements into IT specifications, manage the development and deployment of systems, and transition to operational support teams.
• Engage Mars' operational businesses, meeting their requirements and addressing program plans, progress and issues.
• Manage and develop project teams of internal and external members through direct and matrix reporting structures.
• Be the global expert on a set of business processes in your functional area, leading and steering the evolution within Mars.
Who we're looking for
You will have a track record of delivering Enterprise level programs (both Technology and Process), preferably with experience in SAP ERP or other leading IT solutions.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate teams across geographical and cultural borders, both at a functional and project level. Enthusiasm, drive and energy are essential to making a real difference in this unique and challenging environment.
