An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced corporate tax adviser to join this professional, friendly team based in Inverness. Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Build and maintain consulting tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service,
• Win work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients,
• Manage the successful delivery of consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken ,
• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both clients from the tax consulting services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both clients and the firm.
Who we're looking for
Person:
• Client driven and strategically and commercially aware.
• Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
• Develop innovative ideas and solutions.
• Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs to clients.
• Business development skills - ability to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
• Project/Financial management - plan and monitor deliverables, approach, budget and timescales.
• Effective time management skills - ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Change orientated with flexible approach.
• At least 5 years relevant/appropriate corporate tax experience.
• Strong technical skills; a deep and wide knowledge of corporate tax, experience of structuring tax planning opportunities for corporate clients; awareness of technical issues beyond specialism.
• ACA/CA/ACCA qualification; or
• Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification.
