This is an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a leading telecoms organisation. The role requires management of the services relationship with the customer base, end users, and across internal business units.

The role is a maternity cover and offers a 12 month fixed contract.

Who we're looking for
This role requires well rounded operational management skills in addition to a strong sense of business acumen. You will be responsible for day to day operational management, driving and leading the team, setting business objectives and motivating performance.

Key responsibilities:
• Identify customer requirements, revenue and cost reduction opportunities and implement appropriate business service strategies
• Manage the team within the Business Plan, develop and implement strategies in support of the Plan, and provide excellent customer service at affordable cost
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the customer base and key suppliers
• Drive the customer service agenda across the service and operational teams
• Work across the company to ensure service and customer satisfaction targets are met
• Manage customer requirements, service planning, job & jeopardy management

Key Skills:
• Experience in the customer and operational management of a large workforce
• Track record of effectively working in a matrix environment
• Leadership capability and vision to set strategic direction
• Understanding and knowledge of field delivery process
• Negotiation, communication and interpersonal skill across all levels
• Knowledge of the telecom sector is ideal but not essential
