Transaction services is about deals. This includes work such as hostile bid support, buying and selling financial due diligence and deal execution support, conducting strategic and commercial reviews, complex structuring support services and operational and post deal integration support. Increases in activity both in the local and national deal markets means that our client is eager to fill this position as soon as possible.
As a Transaction Services Manager you will play an active part in a wide range of local and national projects for financial intermediaries (I.e. private equity houses and banks) and major corporates. The Scotland team operates as part of the UK national and international transaction services network, and as such, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in large projects for other parts of the network.
Transaction services covers a huge range of deal situations and businesses and provides a privileged insight into deal activity at the highest level - it can be a hugely exciting and challenging environment.
Who we're looking for
You will be CA/ACCA qualified with strong written and verbal communication skills. With an enquiring and challenging mind you will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and be a self-starter and team-player. Ideally, you will have previous deal experience, though this is not mandatory because as a new member of the team you will enjoy substantial support and coaching as you gain experience.
