An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Manager to work in the Assurance & Advisory (A&A) service line of the our client's Scotland arm. Due to growth and expansion in the number and size of significant audit clients, our client is keen to recruit a high calibre person to undertake variedwork.

As an Assistant Manager in our client's Glasgow office, you will be participate in work for clients in a wide variety of sectors including financial services, energy, infrastructure and utilities, technology, media and telecommunications and in the public sector. Your clients will range from small owner-managed businesses through to FTSE 100 clients.

Reporting to either a Senior Manager or direct to a Partner, you will be responsible for the management of the audit of key sections or business units of your clients. This will involve audit planning and day to day management of field teams, including review of audit work, liaison with key client staff and the management of the reporting process.

Who we're looking for
You will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of running the audits of small and medium sized companies for a top 20 accountancy firm. Experience of IAS/UK GAAP conversions and regulations is desirable.

You will have project management and analytical capabilities, as well as outstanding oral and written communication skills. You will also be highly motivated and committed with a positive and ambitious attitude. A familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Project is advantageous.
