Delivering the Cost Engineering capability to the Major Projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
For ensuring the delivery of SQESH performance in accordance with the requirements of Aldermaston SQESH policy and SQESH management systems within all areas of this roles' responsibility.
For implementing best practice Cost Engineering policy, processes and procedures on Major Projects.
For accurately identifying, controlling and forecasting the cost to complete (AFC).
For co-ordinating the flow of information to ensure that interfaces within projects are effectively managed to optimise efficiencies.
For developing, incorporating, monitoring and reporting expenditure against that planned/budgeted including variance reporting.
For monitoring and reporting on project performance using earned value analysis.
For summarising data though CBS/WBS hierarchy from detail to summary levels.
For developing and managing a database to capture and identify/verify estimating norms and trends, earned value and performance indicators.
For responding to customer feedback on Cost Engineering performance.
Who we're looking for
You will have experience in Cost Management for major projects and be either MOD cleared or fit the criteria to be so.
Desired skills:
• Chartered Engineer/QS
• Nuclear Experience preferred
• Strong Academics
