This is an exciting opportunity to have full responsibility for the marketing strategy of a well established Law firm based in Oxford. This a pivotal role to the continued success of a high profile, professional services organisation. As well as looking after the business development and marketing systems you will sit on the board of the company with three Senior Partners and the Practice Director. You will over see and develop the client care programme, regular seminars and events and target steering groups that are already in place and will have full budget control and responsibility for two marketing assistants. In the long run you will have a chance to evolve the marketing strategy and implement the necessary changes to keep this firm in line with the modern market place.
Who we're looking for
It is essential that you have a sound understanding of the commercial law industry and experience in the legal or accountancysector is also imperative. Some kind of professional services background is, however needed. Previous management of a marketing team and department is vital and this role will certainly require a strategically minded, positive individual.
About our client
Our Client is a substantial commercial law firm with offices in Oxford and London. The Oxford office comprises approximately 50 lawyers and 50 support staff and has a turnover of around £7 million. Their principal business is in the area of commercial, intellectual property, litigation, property and employment law. They do undertake some family and private client work but nothing which might be considered or described as 'high street' work.
