High Tech

Thames Valley

Permanent ⁄ £50000 - £60000

Updated August 4, 2008

Reporting to the EMEA Legal Director, this is a broad commercial role, in a US owned high-tech business.

Who we're looking for
Reporting to the EMEA Legal Director, you will have a law degree from an accredited EU law school and admission to practice law in at least one EU country (preferably UK, Netherlands, France or Germany).

You will have experience of managing EMEA trans-national commercial transactions. This experience is likely to have been gained in-house, working for a US owned hi-tech company with a significant pan-EMEA presence. As such, you will have excellent knowledge of a broad range of commercial law, and you will be familiar with such issues as revenue recognition, Sarbanes Oxley and the FCPA.

Possessing exceptional drafting and organisation skills, you will be able to demonstrate EMEA and US cultural sensitivity and possess communication skills that enable you to influence at senior levels. To this end you will be completely fluent in English, and good business French or German language skills would be an added bonus.
