This role is within Reporting, budgeting and Forecasting team. The key customers of the team are the Managing Directors, Heads of Finance and Executive Management teams of those business units.
• Delivery of the key objectives of the role means the successful candidate will need to work closely with other colleagues within the business unit finance teams. In addition the nature of the role means there is substantial opportunity and need for direct contact with Heads of Finance.
Key Responsibilities;
• Co-ordinate finalisation of monthly results, including working with business partners to identify risks and opportunities and to produce scenario analysis/alternative plans where required.
• Production of monthly management reports to include commercial analysis, commentaries and recommendations for action.
• Production of analyses and commentaries to support reporting of monthly, quarterly and half year results.
• Co-ordination of the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Production of overall plans, budgets and forecasts for review by Head of Finance and Managing Director and for ultimate submission to Group Finance.
The team also undertakes various ad hoc investigations and reviews to support the Heads of Finance and the successful candidate can expect to have a strong involvement in such assignments.
Who we're looking for
Qualified Accountant
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and consolidating preferable
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and senior level.
