Due to an aggressive growth strategy our client is now looking to recruit a talented management accountant who working closely with the CFO will offer high visibility financial support to the management team.
This is a newly created position and will allow the right individual the opportunity to ensure the correct systems and controls are in place to support the business and ensure the preparation of timely and accurate management accounts and as such will allow the individual to make an impact quickly.
Your role will be both varied and challenging, covering;
Preparation of monthly management accounts for the board.
Monthly P&L and variance analysis.
Month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting of month-end and ad-hoc journals.
Financial analysis of business costs.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plans.
Assist in the preparation of Financial KPI to ensure close monitoring of business.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified accountant with excellent management accounting experience looking to join a entrepreneurial business that offers an exciting environment in which to work and an opportunity for real career progression. You will have both an interest in the media industry and want to work for a company that will allow you the ability to get close to the business.
You will have excellent excel skills and your attention to detail will give you the ability to recognise and analyse key facts that will have an impact on the business.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
