•This role involves working on clients site addressing mission critical operating issues in the life sciences, transport, manufacturing and financial services sectors.
Who we're looking for
To be considered suitable candidates must have:
• Relevant industry experience in an operations improvement role, or experience working for a leading operations management consulting firm.
• The ability to work effectively in a high-pace client environment
• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience of operational excellence concepts/tools such as VSM, Business Process Re-Design, Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, Modelling and Simulation, Cycle Time Reduction, Facility Layout Design etc.
• A thorough understanding of one or more of the following, Lean Manufacturing, MRP, Advanced Planning/Scheduling, Organisational design etc.
• Excellent Excel skills and a good knowledge in Access
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm for regular and extensive travel in the UK and Europe, with the consultant required to be at clients site Monday-Friday.
• A good Analytical Degree
• Industry certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean accreditation
• Fluency in English and also one other European Language
