Principal Responsibilities -

• Reporting on the financial performance of the programme including investment progress, project and programme efficiency and contingent liability position
• Ensure integrity of costs being allocated to individual projects within the general and projects ledgers
• Provide financial input to the Solutions management teams including data analysis
• Maintaining financial partnering relationships betweenthe finance functions and delivery partners in the areas.
• Supporting Project Managers develop robust investment projections, profiling and providing robust cash flow forecasts.
• Management and reporting of resourcing profiles necessary to support the delivery of the investment programme.
• Ensuring adherence to financial contractual requirements.
• Providing financial management information and support to meet Project Managers requests.
• Ensure compliance with capital expenditure policies and procedures
• Provide financial support to project management, acting as first point of contact for resolution of financial queries
• Supporting with ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and Knowledge -

• Proactive approach
• Highly computer literate / strong excel skills
• Must have a broad understanding of current best commercial accounting practices and standards, particularly relating to investment delivery. Experience of investment delivery in a regulated environment desirable.

Qualifications and Experience -

• Qualified accountant
• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
• Detailed knowledge of project accounting
• Proven track record of adding value
