Our client plans to considerably grow its cross-functional public sector team in Scotland. As such, we are looking to recruit a number of people at various levels who have a corporate finance background and PFI/PPP experience, as well as people with a track record of delivering advisory services in the public sector.
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may range from project managing individual transactions to leading negotiations on behalf of clients. If you are an advisory specialist, you will have the ability to contribute to and, in certain circumstances, lead projects in your particular area of expertise.
At all levels, you will:
• be expected to work as a member of a team which, depending on the nature of assignments, could be specific to a particular function, but which more than likely will be cross-functional;
• be required to report to clients, Partners and Directors;
• be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with clients, financiers and other advisors; and
• become involved in pitches for new work - including the preparation and presentation of new information.
Your role will be based either in Glasgow or Edinburgh - although you will also work across Scotland, and at times, in England.
