We are looking for someone who has a "franchise owner mentality", someone who is strong in developing and maintaining key business relationships, and is a team player. This is an excellent opportunity with a well-established software company that has 1,000+ customers, strong products, and proven vertical markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of Performance Management Software Solutions and Services to new accounts in their assigned territory. Typical prospects will be Mid-Market process manufacturing companies in the food and beverage;Life Sciences;Consumer Product manufacturing space. The candidate will also have the opportunity to sell ERP, SCM, CRM and EPM to these companies as an integrated suite or as stand alone applications.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate equal skills in 2 key areas:
1. Business and Territory Development -you must generate approximately 40% of your own leads through effective Business Planning and Territory Management. Managing network contacts, partners, influencers, and canvassing the territory are critical job functions that must result in significant lead generation.
2. Managing the Sales Cycle from Qualification to Competitive Comparison to Winning to Close - The BDM will be responsible for leading all aspects of the sales cycle including initial contact, qualification, needs assessment, solutions creation and positioning, proposal and RFP response, demonstrations, closing, and negotiations.
Requires experience selling complex high value software systems.

What's on offer
£50,000 - £60,000 basic salary, plus OTE, plus car allowance, plus benefits.
