Real Estate Services (RES) sits within the Corporate Finance division of Deloitte and combines construction, property and financial expertise to provide advice and solutions in the fields of construction advisory, corporate real estate and real estate corporate finance.
The breadth of specialist services offered by RES is considerable, as are the sources of our client opportunities. However, in overview, our market offering focuses on three core areas:-
• Occupier Advisory - optimising the value and cost of property as a specialised asset class, aimed primarily at the occupier market (public & private sector), and primarily through "consultancy-type" assignments;
• Value Enhancement - in circumstances ranging from pro-active refinancing and outsourcing assignments through to value maximisation as part of distressed insolvency situations, primarily through "transaction -type" assignments;
• Construction Advisory - this includes advising public and private clients on all aspects of construction strategy including funding and lending, procurement strategy, procurement, programme management, commercial management and general performance improvement.
In addition to assignments led directly by RES, RES is often used to support assignments being delivered by other Deloitte service lines to key clients, both in the UK and globally.
Who we're looking for
Qualifications/ requirements:
• Minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree results or equivalent qualification/experience<BR>
• Chartered status preferable or equivalent experience<BR>
• Analytical, rigorous, a lateral thinker
• Ability and self discipline to organise, prioritise and be deadline driven
• High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Commercial acumen and an awareness of key business issues
