Working closely with the Land and Build Departments you will be responsible for ensuring detailed technical investigations and design optimisation is secured and proper liaison with statutory authorities, including all necessary documentation and drawings are produced to enable contracts to be let. Preparation of all detailed construction drawings and negotiating technical and statutory approvals; co-ordination of all specialised designs; make recommendations to optimise preplanning;negotiate legal agreements with statutory authorities; identify and resolve technical problems; keep up to date on construction research and legislation; supervise outside consultants; ensure all technical works carried out within budgets and appropriate documentation and filing systems work effectively; maintain satisfactory relationships with
Local Authorities, NHBC and Service Utility Officers.
Who we're looking for
Must have significant operational experience at Technical Manager level with an established large house builder, developer or contractor and able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of technical and legal requirements governing development project infrastructure.
