Senior Tax Manager/Partner Designate

This is a role based in Bristol in the South West of England and is an opportunity to join a leading independent firm. This exciting period of growth for the office in Bristol represents a chance for personal development and prospects for rapid promotion.
The role will offer a challenge for someone who wants to be stretched and who is looking to broaden their skill base. You will have considerable expertise in all areas of tax with a proven record in tax planning for both corporate and personal tax but specialising in corporate tax. Additionally you should be able to look at acquisition and merger deals as well as MBO's and be able to advise the vendor or purchaser on the tax implications of such transactions. It is particularly important that you are able to communicate your technical ability both by written and spoken word to clients, tax department team members and non tax Partners in a clear and concise manner so that complex matters are easily understood. You will need to be creative and enjoy problem solving to apply your knowledge on this diverse range of assignments and in so doing advise some of the region's more prestigious businesses helping them achieve their financial objectives and resolve their problems.

Who we're looking for
You should be a CTA qualified tax professional preferably with an accountancy qualification, as well as a strong sense of achievement and the vitality and confidence to develop business and drive the practice forward. It goes without saying that strong technical skills will be crucial for success in this role together with the necessary interpersonal and social skills which will enable you to make a full contribution to the further growth and success of the firm.
