As a result of continued business growth, the opportunity now exists to establish the In-House legal function for Nintendo UK. As part of the Senior Management team, you will assist the UK business on qualifying legal requests for contractual support. It's a key role that will involve working internally and with external partners to ensure commercial business principles are maintained whilst ensuring compliance with all UK and EU legal requirements.
Key Tasks
• Contracts:
- Promotional agreements with partners
- Sponsorship agreements with non-profit organisations
- Trading Terms with customers
- Trading agreements with other businesses and Service Providers
• Anti-Piracy, IP Protection and Anti-Counterfeit co-ordination (sitting on internal industry committee and liaising HR and Employment contracts /conditions along with Personnel support with GM )
• Consumer issues and Government liaison
with Global Anti-Piracy Unit based in USA)
• Corporate Governance, Sarbannes Oxley
• Minor EU issues along with liaison and support with the Nintendo of Europe legal team
• Product compliance and other product issues
• Liaison with Head Office and other territories on legal issues
• Liaison and control of external legal partners
• Provision of ad-hoc training on Consumer / Commercial Law issues to Nintendo UK staff

Who we're looking for
• Qualification to be in the UK, or other EMEA country with experience of dealing in English LawExperience of working in an In-House environment, employed or on a secondment
• Demonstrable knowledge of issues affecting the supply of products to Consumers in the EMEA region
• Computer Literate, with working knowledge of using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English with current British Passport
