The Environmental and /Projects Group has grown significantly over the last two years. The group now has a need for a projects lawyer to join a team and with the ability to make a real difference in terms of practice development. The team wants to take the opportunity of competing for work on the largest and most challenging waste projects and to broaden the practice into other sectors whilst remaining focussed on waste management.

The Environmental & Projects team specialises in advising the public and private sectors on the procurement of PPP/PFI projects particularly in the waste management sector and providing general environmental and planning advice.

Who we're looking for
Lawyer required at Associate/Partner level.Require technical and commercial acumen to lead PPP/PFI projects for public and private sector clients. The emphasis is on waste management but as well as looking for a lawyer to help develop the team's reputation generally in the waste sector there is a need for a lawyer who can help broaden the team's marketability into other PPP/PFI sectors (e.g. health/education/IT).

The lawyer should have knowledge of PPP/PFI preferably gained at a City or significant regional firm or in-house in the private or public sector and expertise of acting for a range of parties preferably including the public and private sectors and fenders.
