As a Manager/Senior Manager in this highly successful team you will be responsible for the management of the audit of key sections or business units of clients. This will involve audit planning, day to day management of field teams including the review of audit work, liaison with key client staff and the management of the reporting process. You will report to a Director, and duties will involve -
- Development and coaching of junior members of staff
- Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales
- Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget
- Participating in due diligence or other transaction support engagements
- Drafting accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IAS
Who we're looking for
- ACCA/CA or equivalent (preferably with first time passes)
- Experience in financial services is essential
- Impressive analytical capabilities
- Highly motivated and committed
- Positive and ambitious attitude
- Up to date on current economic and market trends
- Ability to develop strong client relationships
- Highly proficient in written and oral communication
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Project management capabilities
- Aptitude/familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Project
